How many units of Dysport do I need?
This is a very common question, and there’s no straightforward answer. It depends on how many wrinkles you’d like to smooth. However, we tend to err on the side of caution and inject fewer units of Dysport. This conservative approach is how we ensure natural – never frozen – results.
Are there any risks?
In general, Dysport is an extremely safe, non-surgical wrinkle treatment. With that said, side effects have been reported and may include bruising and pain at the injection site; redness; headache; flu-like symptoms; nausea; and temporary facial weakness. However, these effects typically clear very quickly.
Is anesthesia required?
Not all patients require anesthesia during their injections. If you’re concerned about pain, a topical anesthetic can be applied.
Is there a recovery period?
No! You will be free to return to work and your normal daily routine immediately after your appointment at our Franklin, TN office.
